Delete Your Data
Massiv by Aristocoded LLC
Last updated 2026-10-19
Massiv is a local-first workout tracker — your training data lives on your device, not our servers. This page explains how to delete your data and what happens to each type.
To delete all your Massiv data:
- Open the Massiv app.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Delete all data.
- Confirm deletion in the prompt.
This immediately and permanently deletes your training data from your device. No account or internet connection required.
Using Cloud Backup? Copies in your own iCloud or Google Drive are not deleted. To remove them, first open Settings → Backup & Restore → Cloud Backup → Delete All Cloud Backups.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted immediately
All workout sessions and sets, personal records (PRs), achievements, body measurements, weight logs and goals, progress photos, program progress, the backups Massiv keeps on your device, and app preferences.
Kept
The exercise library and programs, including exercises and programs you created, and your equipment setup (plates, bar and dumbbells).
A few on-device markers that don't identify you, such as your analytics choice, when your free auto-load preview started, and how Massiv was installed (a creator link or code). Keeping them means deleting your data can't switch analytics back on, restart the preview, or report the install again.
Analytics, submitted feedback, and crash data
Massiv uses two third-party processors for anonymous telemetry, submitted feedback, and crash reporting. Neither is intentionally provided your name, email, or a Massiv account identifier.
- PostHog (usage analytics and feedback) — anonymous device events and feedback messages you voluntarily submit in the app — retained according to our configured PostHog retention setting — deletable by emailing [email protected].
- Sentry (crash and bug reporting) — anonymous crash reports and bug reports you voluntarily submit in the app — retained according to our configured Sentry retention setting — deletable by emailing [email protected].
To request deletion, email [email protected] with subject "Data deletion request". We'll action it within 30 days.
Subscription data
Purchase records are managed by Apple or Google, not Massiv. Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support to manage purchase history.
Newsletter data
The optional Massiv Training Notes mailing list is separate from the App. Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter to stop future issues. To request deletion of other newsletter information, email [email protected] with the subject Newsletter privacy request.
